Electronic Controls are easily accessible from the front flip-out service panel and are equipped with EMI filters conforming to the European EMC regulation 89/336/EWG, in particular EN55011(B), EN55022 and 50082-1;-2. In addition, MegaStar controls comply with the European Machinery Directive 98/37/EC, the Electrical Equipment Directive 73/23/EWG, and the Harmonized Standards for Safety of Machinery: DIN EN292 part 1 and 2; DIN EN294; and DIN EN349. The Standard Controls comply with USA UL Standards.

Each unit has a fluorescent lighting system, at no additional charge, with a convenient on/off switch. This allows users to decide when additional light is required due to existing light and glare from material being worked with.

Multiple and redundant product safety system of upper and lower infrared beams and upper and lower mechanical operator safety bars prevent harm to stored items and operator personnel.

When activated, the system moves directly to the selected carrier with no cycling or installation time required.

The MediaStationT Electric Lateral File is available in heights of 8', 9', 10', 11' and 12' and in widths of 47", 77", 102", 116" and 130". Multiple shelves can be added (and changed as needed) easily to any universal carrier to provide maximum density and user flexibility. Simply program the new shelf height into the controls and the unit will stop at that level with a push of a button.

You can easily increase workers productivity by interfacing with a PC, and the display will identify the next active file when using T3LCD or better.

When the safety system is activated, a text message is displayed on some of the keypad's displays for fast user intervention. No error codes or hard to understand terminology is used.

An optional SIP (Safety Information Panel) display graphically depicts the source of the error that occurred.

MegaStar's Electric Lateral Files Safety System automatically shuts down the unit when an imbalance load is detected to protect personnel, material and equipment. A preemptive imbalance loading safety provides a convenient text error message when reaching 80% of capacity. The optional SIP display provides a graphic depiction approaching capacity plus an optional annunciator is available.
